Affordable Multifamily Rehab and New Development Programs
The El Paso HFC is able to help single family and multifamily developers rehabilitate older assets or build new properties with large cost savings. Both programs focus the purpose of a long-term commitment exchange of setting aside units for low to moderate income earning households in the City of El Paso. The deeper the affordability, the more we are willing work with the developer. Some tools we can use to help subsidize affordable housing developments are as follows:
- Tax Exempt Bond Issuances
- Loans for small nonprofit affordable housing developers
